You might be asking yourself, how can I get the most envy-worthy garden design this season? Or you may be simply thinking, how far apart do I need to space my Wave® Petunias? Look no further because we have the answers!
Shock Wave® Petunia
Shock Wave Petunias are the most compact of the Wave Family. We recommend planting these 6 to 8 inches (15 to 20 cm) apart in flower pots and hanging baskets. For a 10-in. (25-cm) hanging basket, aim for 3 to 4 Shock Wave Petunias for maximum fullness and trail.
E3 Easy Wave® Petunia
With E3 Easy Wave Petunias, you’ll find more mounding and spreading colour. We suggest spacing your flowers 8 to 10 inches (20 to 25 cm) apart in your landscape and containers. For a 10 to 12-in. (25 to 30-cm) round hanging basket, you’ll need three plants for a full, lush look.
Easy Wave® Petunia
Easy Wave Petunias are slightly larger than E3 and should be planted 10 to 12 inches (25 to 30 cm) apart in your garden bed or planters. When placing Easy Wave in a hanging basket, you can get away with less for smaller 8 to 10-in. (20 to 25-cm) pots. Add plants as you go larger in size to encourage the flowers to trail over the sides.
Tidal Wave® Petunia
The largest member of the Wave Family, Tidal Wave offers the most colour for big spaces and containers. We recommend planting these 14 inches (35.5 cm) apart. If the plants are placed closer together, they’ll begin to climb over one another and create a hedge. They may even be trained to climb a trellis or cage!
Wave® Petunia
The original spreading petunia – Wave creates a ground-hugging carpet of colour and spreads 2 to 4 feet (61 to 122 cm)! We suggest for the best results, plant these 14 to 16 inches (35.5 to 41 cm) apart for faster fill and colour. We also recommend Wave for retaining wall spillage or trailing over a balcony or window box.
