On May 3rd, we visited The Home Depot to continue the celebration of 30 years of Wave!

Pink giveaways, insta-worthy photos with the Wave van and Wave Semi Truck, and demos with the kiddos on planting their own Wave Petunia, it was the perfect Wave Day party.
We visited the store out in Shorewood, Illinois, where lots of customers were bustling about. The weather was awesome, and fans and customers were all in good spirits looking for plants. We had entertainment for the kids, as they got their flower faces and Grandflowers helped the kids plant Wave plugs.

Thank you to all our fans for helping us celebrate the first-ever official Wave Day! May 3rd was packed with lots of pink, lots of petunias and a whole lot of Wave flower pots. We were absolutely tickled pink to have a day that celebrates not just Wave® Petunias and Pansies, but our community of gardeners who’ve helped grow the brand over the past three decades.

National Wave Day is about happiness in the garden – from planting the season’s first blooms to sharing that joy with friends, family and neighbors. Thank you to all of you who have helped make the Wave brand what it is today! And with that, here’s a glimpse into the Wave headquarters (early) celebration of National Wave Day 2025:
