Wave® Petunias is actually part of an even bigger family. Not only is it a PanAmerican Seed brand, it’s also part of Ball Horticultural Co., which is in its 4th generation of family owners. It’s amazing to think that all of us – of various ages and backgrounds – are united by our love of Wave Petunias.
At Ball Horticultural Co., we have amazing genetics, wonderful gardens but most of all we have great people, and by extension, we have our Wave family! Our Pink Pot Ambassador program started five years ago with a handful of talented gardeners from around the country. With each “class” we induct, it just keeps getting bigger and better!
To thank this special group, our Pink Pot Ambassadors were recently invited to a “Homecoming” weekend in West Chicago, Illinois. It was a chance to thank them for not only representing Wave flowers in what they do, but as true advocates of the brand that brings a carpet of color wherever its planted.
The weekend’s celebration consisted of a welcome party with dinner and dancing, a tour behind the scenes at our breeding and production facility, and then ended with a special trip to The Gardens at Ball. Exploring, learning, laughing and mingling were had by all. But most importantly, we got to meet each other in person.
