Spring-dreaming! Plan for new colors of Wave in 2019
The Wave Crew  Wave Petunias | Cool Wave Pansies

The days are growing shorter, and this year’s garden is tucked into bed. It’s time for some “spring-dreaming” of what your garden will look like next year! Our Wave Team of experts works hard to bring new, exciting colors to stores and mail-order catalogs across the globe. We watch trends and listen to our Wave Fans to bring glamor to your outdoor living space. Here’s what you can expect from Wave in Spring 2019...

Easy Wave Petunia Color Upgrades
We’ve improved our Easy Wave Red and Easy Wave Violet petunias to have non-fading color and a much better plant structure. You’ll find the new Violet won’t be so upright, and you’ll love how dense the branching is for new Red. Both will offer you deeper, richer color that will make your garden a showplace!

2 New Colors for Cool Wave Pansies
You’ll see two new colors in our Cool Wave Pansies lineup: Cool Wave Fire and Cool Wave Lemon. Look for Lemon in hanging baskets in early-spring, while the colors of Fire are sure to spice up things in Fall 2019. To learn more about our Cool Wave Pansies, watch this video.

Mixed to the Max
New colors in petunias and pansies means brand-new mixes, too! We have gorgeous blends in both our Wave Petunias and Cool Wave Pansies lines. Not to mention a whole bunch of new recipe options for you to mix yourself! Take a look at some of these combos and let us know what you think in the comments section below.

You’ll see our new petunias and pansies show up in mail-order catalogs this winter. And be sure to watch for all the fresh color in your local garden stores next spring. To stay in touch with our team and get a first-look at what’s new, follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

I planted the Denim Shock Wave petunias in big pots in my front garden (southern exposure) because they said "full sun". I used that nurseries potting soil as well. I like the purple with my yellow marigolds. FORGET IT !!!! they have all faded within 2 weeks. Most of them are off white now.
What a waste of money. They nursery said its because they are getting too much sun ! Full sun apparently just means they will survive in the sun. If I wanted white petunias I would have bought white. No refunds!

Hi Lorraine ... We're so sorry you're disappointed in our Shock Wave Denim. The plant gets its name from its variable color, which is affected by heat and light. It matures from a purple-ish denim to a "stone wash jeans" effect when temperatures rise. Depending on where you're located, you may see much more purple color expressed as your area gets a bit of a cool down. For a more consistent blue/purple color, we highly recommend our Easy Wave Blue or for a softer "morn-type" the new Easy Wave Lavender Sky Blue might be a good complement to your home. Please feel free to reach out to us via the Contact Us page if we can further assist you.
