It’s almost Spring, and our Cool Wave® Pansies will be making your gardens beautiful again! Here’s a fun (and luxurious) DIY project that can be used to pamper yourself after a day of gardening. These bath bombs also make fantastic gifts for any occasion.

MATERIALS:
1/2 cup Epsom or sea salt
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup cream of tartar
1 cup baking soda
2 tsp. essential oil
1 tsp. olive oil
Dried Cool Wave® Pansy blossoms
Bath bomb mold or silicone mold
INSTRUCTIONS:
To dry the Cool Wave Pansy blooms, position the blossoms between 2 sheets of parchment paper. Place between the pages of a heavy book and let sit for about a week to dry.

To make the bath bomb, stir together baking soda, salt, cornstarch, and cream of tartar in a large mixing bowl.
Stir in essential oil and olive oil.

Place dried pansy blooms in bath bomb mold.
Spoon mixture into the mold and press firmly into the mold.

Tap the outside of the mold with a spoon to release.
Let sit for 24-48 hours.

Once completely dry, drop the full bath bomb into a bathtub filled with warm, relaxing water. You can also wrap the homemade bath bomb in cellophane to give to a friend. A gift from your garden!
